We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and guest focused Chef de Rang / Waiter in the Food and Beverage department within our Hotel. The main focus of the role will be to provide guests with outstanding service in the restaurant and associated departments.
Location: The Summer Lodge Country House Hotel & Restaurant, Dorset
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Pattern: Shift work (5 days on, 2 days off)
Salary: £27,000 per annum + service charge
Key responsibilities of a Chef de Rang / Waiter:
- Ensuring prompt and professional guest service.
- Assisting with Room Service/Conference and Banqueting where required.
- Setting up and clearing down tables.
- Taking orders and serving guests.
- Maintaining restaurant equipment.
- Supporting colleagues to ensure all guests have a memorable dining experience.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience as a Chef de Rang or waiter in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment is highly desirable.
- A passion for providing outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work well with colleagues across various departments to ensure smooth operations.
- A keen eye for ensuring high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service at all times.
- Ability to take orders, interact with guests, and effectively communicate with kitchen and bar teams.
- Willingness to work shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
