Summer-Browning Associates is supporting our client in the Central Government who is seeking a Programme Finance Analyst for an initial 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.
Location: Hybrid - occasional travel to London sites 1-2 times per month.
The ideal candidate will possess an active CTC or SC clearance and have a strong background in Programme Finance with the following skills and experience:
- Develop, maintain and assure programme financial plans, baselines, and forecasts.
- Build scenario and sensitivity models for cost, schedule, risk and benefits.
- Prepare monthly financial MI, variance analysis, risk updates and board reporting.
- Ensure compliance with HO, HMT and GMPP financial governance.
- Support major business cases, approvals and assurance reviews.
- Contribute to benefits management and financial risk control.
- Enhance programme financial data quality and audit readiness.
- Undertake project accounting responsibilities for the programme.
Any resources must be part of or fully qualified with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA).
