Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Central Government, who is seeking a Commercial Officer for an initial 6-month assignment with an option to extend
Location: London - Hybrid working
The ideal candidate will possess active security clearance and a strong background in Commercial and Procurement Management, along with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in end-to-end procurement within the public sector.
- Familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015.
- Proven experience in supporting the end-to-end sourcing of Information Technology and Digital Procurement contracts within the Defence or Central Government sectors.
- Ability to assist in the development and delivery of complex Invitations to Tender, negotiations, and contracts.
- Desirable experience in International Finance programs, including structuring development finance procurement's, assessing financial and contractual risks, and navigating public procurement frameworks.
