Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Defence Sector, who is seeking a Senior IT Category Manager for an initial 12-month assignment with an option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Reading.
The ideal candidate will hold an active security clearance and strong experience in IT Category Management, with the following skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in IT Category Management within the Defence sector.
- Proficient in end-to-end IT procurement and pre-procurement processes.
- Experienced in running the Procurement Act 2023 Open Frameworks.
- Familiar with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, and Contract Management.
- Possesses strong commercial acumen in supplier negotiation, cost management, and stakeholder management.
