Overview
SBA are currently supporting our Central Government client, seeking a Solution Architect on a 12-month contract located in East Kilbride (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management: Lead and influence stakeholders across multiple disciplines, crafting and advocating for long‑term technical vision aligned with business strategy.
- Communicating & Influencing: Translate complex technical concepts for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Delivery: Hands‑on experience in technical and solution architecture.
- Making Effective Decisions: Provide practical decision‑making support.
Qualifications
- Technology Expertise: Broad understanding of industry‑standard technologies, both proprietary and open source, including Microsoft and Linux environments.
- Software & Infrastructure Expertise: Knowledge of software and infrastructure design considerations, and ability to guide datacentre environments.
- Architecture Leadership: Experience leading architecture function, developing vision, principles, and strategy.
- Google Cloud Expertise: Design and implement Google Cloud solutions, optimizing IaC deployments for security, performance, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Eligible for SC level vetting.
