Major Incident Manager - High-threat government environment.
Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Major Incident Manager for an initial 6 assignments with the option to extend.
Location: London/Hybrid
The ideal candidate will have an active SC or DV clearance and a strong background in Incident Management within a high-threat government environment.
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience in leading and managing a 24/7 incident management team, including response and Tier 2/3 escalation.
- Demonstrated ability to restore critical IT services, validate recovery actions, and ensure that all activities are thoroughly documented in ServiceNow and MI dashboards.
- Experience in problem management, change management, and service continuity planning.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) in secure environments, such as Defence or Central Government.
- Industry certifications, including a Service Management foundation qualification such as ITIL.
- Knowledge and experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), as well as cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
