Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client within the Public Sector, who are seeking a Head of Commercial on an initial 6 month assignment (Inside IR35)\\n \\n Location: London or York (hybrid)\\n\\nNB: To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have been at Head of Commercial level (with 5+ years of recent experience). You'll also be able to demonstrate the value of the relevant projects you've worked on.\\n\\nEssential\\n * Knowledge of the use and application of railway and / or construction industry conditions of contract\\n * Educated to degree level or equivalent and professional qualification\\n * Experienced staff manager and negotiator\\n * Demonstrate experience of resolution of construction contract disputes and robust post contract management\\n * Relevant railway and/or construction experience\\n * Knowledge of railway commercial contract management and estimating\\n * Demonstrable experience of actively building internal and external networks and partnering across functions and boundaries\\n * Demonstrable experience of coaching and addressing team and individual capability requirements\\n * Demonstrable experience of assessing the impact of decisions on customers, with consideration of value for money and business priorities\\n\\nTo apply, please submit your latest CV for review
