Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our client in the public sector, who is seeking a Senior Atlassian Data Center Engineer for an initial 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.
Location: Hybrid working - London/Glasgow
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Atlassian Engineering, with the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in administering, configuring, and supporting Atlassian Data Center, specifically Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in L2/L3 incident resolution for production systems.
- Ability to lead the execution of non-production and production changes under approved change records.
- Proficient in JVM tuning and index management.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira Service Management and Confluence, including configuration and workflow modifications.
- Experience with upgrading Atlassian Data Center configurations and maintaining resilient infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Atlassian architecture, focusing on Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, along with a thorough understanding of modular workflows, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
- Experience working in public sector or defence secure environments.
