Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting a central government client in their search for a Service Architect. This position is offered as an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Location: London

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess an active security clearance and a strong background in Service Architecture.
  • Extensive experience in developing Service Architecture and Design Authority, as well as implementing architectural governance.
  • A proven track record in leading Service Architecture initiatives for large-scale cloud transformation programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL-aligned Service Management Design, specifically for incident, problem, change, release, configuration, service request, knowledge, and service level management.
  • Proven ability in Service Readiness and Transition Leadership, including the development of onboarding playbooks, operational acceptance criteria, and Early Life Support (ELS) designs.
  • Proficiency in Risk Management, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), Governance, Assurance, and Cross-Government Engagement.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework.
  • Experience in public sector or defence secure environments, particularly within high-security government Tier 2 environments, is highly advantageous.
