Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working β Sheffield
About the role: You will be responsible for managing tools and testing environments, central code control, maintaining development standards, and writing software that automates systems to enhance operations.
The ideal candidate will hold Active NPPV2/ NPPV3 and have a strong background in delivery DevOps Engineering support, with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in programming languages e.g. Python or Java
- Experience in automation tools e.g. Jenkins or Ansible
- Experience of cloud services e.g. AWS, Azure of Google Cloud
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) e.g. Terraform or Cloudformation
- Experience of working within a public sector environment.
