About the role

You will be responsible for evaluating product, development and investment costs for current and future product development plans at a system or part level, and for working proactively toward achieving cost target objectives with project teams across product platforms in conjunction with the Purchasing and Engineering functions.

Qualifications

  • Experience of product cost management.
  • Knowledge of automotive cost estimating and engineering practices.
  • Experience in technical negotiations.
  • Experience in developing suppliers to determine good value for money products.
  • Experience with Siemens TcPCM Product Costing or similar software solutions (Desirable).
