Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Central Government, who is seeking a Commercial Officer for an initial 6-month assignment with an option to extend.

Location: London - Hybrid working

The ideal candidate will possess active security clearance and a strong background in Commercial and Procurement Management, along with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in end-to-end procurement within the public sector.
  • Familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015.
  • Proven experience in supporting the end-to-end sourcing of Information Technology and Digital Procurement contracts within the Defence or Central Government sectors.
  • Ability to assist in the development and delivery of complex Invitations to Tender, negotiations, and contracts.
  • Desirable experience in International Finance programs, including structuring development finance procurements, assessing financial and contractual risks, and navigating public procurement frameworks.
