The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our Telco client, who are a Risk Manager on an initial 3 month contract (inside IR35). You will be responsible for working with risk champions across CTO to provide risk exposure and control effectiveness information including:
- Determining CTO's exposure to risk against its risk tolerance.
- Identification of emerging risk trends and determining their impact on CTO's risk profile.
- Assessing control effectiveness in design and operation.
- Identifying arising internal control issues and concerns.
- Supporting the business in the quantitative and qualitative assessment of risks in a manner that supports financial planning on a plausible and worst-case basis.
- Facilitating the management of issues and concerns and challenging the appropriateness of management mitigation plans.
- Tracking risk mitigation actions and updates/reporting to the organisation.
- Monitoring the status of key risk indicators.
- Providing forecasts on the basis of past performance.
- Monitoring loss event (incidents) occurrence and providing forecasts of expected losses with and without management action.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Risk Manager within telco.
Essential criteria:
- Must be a very experienced Risk Manager.
- Able to do RCSA or CRSA.
- Able to understand technology if not from telco.
- Must have supported in Operations and Conduct. If financial or Capacity then have an understanding of the other two and be able to talk to very senior stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Willing to undergo SC level vetting.
