Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) for an initial ten-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham or Blackpool (60% site attendance required)
About the role: You will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving large-scale enterprise network platforms, with a strong focus on modern, automated, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Infrastructure/ Network Engineering support, with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a Network / Infrastructure Engineer role in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience delivering engineering solutions.
- Experience of Enterprise Networking Engineering.
- Experience of Firewall and Security Technologies (Palo Alto firewalls, Zero Trust & Secure Network Design Principles).
- Experience of Data Centre & Network Architecture (VXLAN/ EVPN, Load balancing technologies ie F5 BIG-IP).
- Experience in network automation (Python or Ansible).
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), ie Terraform.
- Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP).
