Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client in central government, who is seeking a PMO Lead for an initial 6-month assignment.
Location: Glasgow - Hybrid
The ideal candidates will hold an active SC and have an extensive PMO Lead background with the following skills/experience:
- Experience leading the PMO environment and implementing best practice frameworks that align with large-scale Government Project Delivery standards and processes across the full product/software delivery lifecycle.
- Demonstrating expertise in core Lead PMO functions such as Programme/Project Scheduling, Resource management, Risk & issue management, Programme governance, Budgeting & cost management, Change control.
- Proven leadership skills in managing PMO & Delivery teams.
- Experience in Government business case frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, project scheduling and risk management tools including Microsoft Project, JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience delivering solutions using agile tools and methods, including estimation, prioritisation, and managing risks and dependencies.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum and PRINCE2.
- Familiarity with secure environments in the public sector or defence is highly advantageous.
