Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our client in the Defence Sector, who is seeking a Commercial Manager for an initial 12-month assignment, with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Porton Down, Salisbury

The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in Commercial Management, including the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with NEC4 contracting, including Engineering Construction Contracts (ECC) and Professional Service Contracts (PSC).
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end commercial and procurement processes, from strategy development to contract award, particularly within the Defence and Central Government sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR) and Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations (DSPCR).
  • Familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Knowledge of developing business cases in accordance with HM Treasury's Green Book framework.
