Contract fixed term, 12 weeks over June to August 2026 (starting 8th June). International students on visas which allow them to work full‑time over university holidays can apply for this position. We also welcome applications from students who have just completed first year of university and fresh graduates.

Events Operations Interns will support key event planning tasks in the run‑up to Summer Programmes and be primarily responsible for maintaining transport and managing airport transfer logistics for our international students.

During the summer holidays, we deliver immersive Summer Experiences designed to give students a 360‑degree insight into their dream career. Led by industry professionals, our programmes offer up to 65 hours of hands‑on experience, including visits to real workplaces, professional development coaching and exclusive networking opportunities. Our Summer Experiences are based on campus in central London at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities, including University College London (UCL), the London School of Economics (LSE) and the University of London. Students can choose to attend a one‑week, two‑week or two‑week Premium programme, with the option to study on a non‑residential or residential basis. This on‑campus setting provides students with a safe, supportive and inspiring environment while offering an authentic taste of university life in the heart of London.

Ways We Support Our Interns

Remuneration: ÂŁ500 per week. Returning interns or those with additional responsibilities will be eligible for a higher salary band of ÂŁ530 per week.

Details of Internship Location

Our office is located in Victoria, London. During the internship, you will spend some weeks in the office and some on‑site with our students at venues in Bloomsbury and across Central London.

Hours

5 days per week with 2 full days off per week. Typically 9am‑6pm Monday‑Friday. This role will require regular weekend work to support our student check‑in and check‑out days (a minimum of 6 days across the contract). Programme weeks may require additional hours, which will be balanced out with time off in lieu. You should not exceed a total of 265 hours for a 7‑week contract or 375 hours for a 10‑week contract, and any work above this will be compensated in line with our overtime policy. You will accrue Annual Leave throughout your internship at a standard rate (25 days per year pro‑rated).

Responsibilities

  • Lead exciting events and social programme activities: take part in the facilitation of our student Prom, attended by all residential students.
  • Support running our Premium Networking events, including dressing the room, liaising with external stakeholders and ensuring our students and professional attendees get a 5* experience.
  • Analyse data and coordinate complex logistics for international student check‑in days.
  • Book and facilitate transport for students from the airport to accommodation and across programme venues.
  • Run our Heathrow Welcome Club and greet students at the start of their experience.
  • Manage a team of other staff, delegating tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Welcome Club.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Resources management and preparation, including ordering, tracking and packing essential programme materials.
  • Transport resources to venues across Central London.
  • Coordinate movement of resources from storage to venues.
  • Administer our website and tech platforms.
  • Support with formatting registers.
  • Provide technical support to other seasonal staff members.
  • Work with the Operations Team to support other tasks where necessary.

About You

You are an organised and detail‑oriented university student or recent graduate looking to gain experience in events management and logistics. You thrive under pressure and love to work in a busy, fast‑paced environment. You are a fast learner, enthusiastic, proactive and great at taking initiative. You exhibit a can‑do attitude and demonstrate a high level of ownership and professionalism. You are excited to work with a rapidly scaling start‑up aiming to support school students aged 15‑18 in achieving their dream careers.

You have the following skills and interests:

  • Experience organising live in‑person events in fast‑paced environments.
  • Fantastic organisational skills, ability to balance multiple priorities and dedication to attention to detail.
  • Experience and enjoyment of working with students aged between 15‑18.
  • High level of vigilance when working with young or vulnerable people and working knowledge of safeguarding for 15‑18‑year‑olds.
