We are looking for a detail-oriented and compliance-driven IT Asset Manager to lead the transformation of our hardware asset management (HAM) function across EMEA, ensuring full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation.

Essentials of the Role

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets, from procurement to secure disposal.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., DORA and ECB).
  • Collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance to maintain accurate inventories and optimise asset utilisation.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT asset management or IT operations, ideally in a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Proven ability to manage asset data accuracy, compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement hardware lifecycle policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a centralised asset inventory with 95%+ data accuracy using ServiceNow.
  • Define asset taxonomy and lead reconciliation and clean-up efforts.
  • Produce regular reports and dashboards on asset status, utilisation and compliance.
  • Support audits with accurate documentation and lifecycle records.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance on budgeting, vendor management and cost optimisation.
  • Oversee secure disposal of end-of-life assets in line with environmental and data protection standards.
  • Provide training to operational teams on HAM tools and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CHAMP or CITAM are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar asset management tools.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
