Alter Domus is seeking an IT Workspace & Collaboration Technology Lead to join our Enterprise Technology & Services team. This role owns the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of the digital workplace and collaboration tooling, with Microsoft 365 at its core, ensuring a secure, reliable, and high‑quality Digital Employee Experience (DEX) for a global user base. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, a service‑oriented mindset, and a proven ability to improve end‑user experience through data, automation, and modern workplace practices.

Your responsibilities

  • Platform Engineering & Architecture: Drive and deliver the design, implementation, and evolution of the technical architecture for enterprise collaboration and work management platforms, including Microsoft 365 and complementary SaaS tooling. Act as a hands‑on technical authority, leading complex implementations, troubleshooting, and architectural decisions. Set architectural direction and guardrails to engineer scalable, secure, and supportable configurations aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Large‑Scale Implementations & Migrations: Technically lead enterprise‑wide programs such as platform rollouts, tenant or system migrations, tooling consolidation, and decommissioning. Define and execute technical rollout strategies, migration approaches, cut‑over plans, and validation processes. Ensure operational readiness, performance, and supportability at scale.
  • Automation, Integration & Workflows: Drive the automation and integration strategy by building and maintaining automation and orchestration using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and platform‑native tooling. Develop and implement integrations across collaboration, project management, ITSM, and knowledge platforms. Develop reusable provisioning, governance, and compliance automation.
  • Digital Employee Experience & Reliability: Design and implement monitoring and telemetry to measure platform health, adoption, and user experience. Proactively identify and remediate technical friction impacting collaboration and workflows. Improve reliability through automation, monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Team Leadership & Support Enablement: Lead, develop and provide technical mentorship to engineers and administrators. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues. Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks. Drive and support continuous improvement of support processes and tooling.

Your profile

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant IT experience with 5+ years in management, with strong exposure to modern workplace technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated and able to thrive in a project‑ and outcome‑driven environment.
  • Advanced engineering expertise in Microsoft 365 collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
  • Strong experience implementing and integrating collaboration platforms, including project and work management tools, ITSM and service request platforms, knowledge management systems.
  • Proven experience leading technical implementations of large‑scale collaboration tooling programs.
  • Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO).
  • Endpoint & device management (Intune, Autopilot, Autopatch).
  • Security tooling within the Microsoft ecosystem (Defender XDR).
  • Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API).
  • Directory services (Active Directory, Group Policy).
  • Experience supporting high‑scale, enterprise end‑user platforms.
  • Familiarity with Apple/JAMF environments.
