Role Summary
We’re looking for an Executive Director - FX Options Trader for the Financial Markets Department (FMD) London to join our team. This role is responsible for managing our global FX Options operation from our London office with close coordination with our option teams across the international branch network. The ED will play a key role in option structuring, market-making, client coverage, and risk management, while actively collaborating with internal stakeholders across sales, risk, operations, and eFX development.
Responsibilities
- To take a central and global leadership role in our options business.
- To coordinate with our global options teams to provide solutions and competitive pricing to our corporate clients.
- To execute and manage complex FX Option trades with corporate clients and interbank counterparties.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in FX Options trading, with a strong focus on exotic options.
- Experience in managing an Options team.
- Deep understanding of option structuring and related risks.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- To manage the global options trading business.
- To collaborate closely with fellow traders across the international branch network to coordinate positions, share market intelligence, and respond effectively to market developments.
- To contribute actively to the development and execution of FMD London’s trading strategy, with a focus on market positioning and revenue generation.
- To build strong working relationships with our sales teams to support client coverage, pricing, and execution.
- To identify and implement new trading approaches, services, and tools to strengthen market-making capabilities and competitiveness.
- To execute trades, manage risk and positions, and provide pricing with accuracy and speed as part of front-line trading operations.
- To monitor market news and economic indicators in real time and incorporate insights into trading decisions.
- To support sales team in communicating market views and trade ideas to clients, helping generate opportunities and deepen engagement.
- To propose improvements to trading systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
