Role Summary
The role of HR Risk Manager and Service Management is to support the HR department in EMEA develop strategy, governance, frameworks, objectives and tools in regard to:
- Managing and reporting People risk including key risk indicators (KRIs)
- Managing and reporting HR’s operational risks including Operational Risk Events and Risk Issues
- Managing HRs Service Level Agreements, cost allocation and key performance indicators (KPIs) reporting with other entities in the region
- Supporting audits on the HR department and any managing resulting audit action points to completion
Business Area
The HR department in EMEA is responsible for the delivery of services to over 3,500 people in over 20 locations. These services include payroll, benefits, pensions, immigration, international mobility, HR analytics, remuneration, learning & development, talent management, succession planning, recruitment, employee relations and strategic workforce planning. HR’s services are often supported by systems including ServiceNow and SuccessFactors. Quality, accuracy and speed are key to upholding HRs reputation in successfully delivering its services.
Position Description
- Subject Matter Expert in People risk, Operational HR risk, intra-group service contacting and cost allocation, department budgeting, third-party vendor management.
- Deliver an expert advisory and consultancy service to HR around risk, intra-group contracting and cost allocation, and facilitating audits of HR Proactively work with EMEA HR Leadership and their team members to continuously.
- Determine their key operational risks, appetite for risk, risk thresholds, KRIs and risk horizon scan.
- Define their service catalogue, SLAs, KPIs and cost allocations
- Work with the HR Analytics team and other sources of data to produce regular key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the services HR providers. Then analyses that data and identifies key insights and messages for customers.
- Monitors trends and proactively takes appropriate action
- Proactively work with HR teams developing new services or changes to existing services to ensure appropriate action is taken to manage risk and update KRIs, update the service catalogue, SLAs, KPIs, controls library and cost allocations.
- Proactively work with HR teams identify, assess and report Operational Risk Events and Risk Issues and monitor the action plan to resolve them Support Heads of HR who’s services and teams are undergoing an audit appropriately prepare for that audit, respond to audit queries.
- Contributes to “forward scanning” of the business best practice, regulatory and legislative environment and proactively respond to it to ensure HR’s services are compliant and taking advantage of the opportunities it provides.
- Ensures that appropriate controls are implemented to ensure the business is appropriately managing its People risk and HR is managing its operational risks within the appetite it has set
