Location: Gaydon, West Midlands

Rate: £27.21 per hour (Inside IR35)

Eligibility: Applicants must have proof of immediate, ongoing, and valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK.

Duties:

  • Infotainment Engineering focus on problem solving, data capture using various tools & techniques, and requirements capture within the Infotainment Space.
  • Reviewing requirements to ensure intended functionality delivered and flag deviations.
  • Capture critical data to support issue triage & problem solving such as DLT, Wireshark, VLAN, CAN logs, SOMEIP etc.
  • Work with internal and external suppliers to ensure issues resolved quickly.
  • Support investigations on critical/showstopper issues to mitigate programme delays.
  • Work with the Triage team to problem solve key issues across multiple layers of the infotainment system.
  • Apply industry best practice to resolve key issues efficiently.
  • Handle regular ad-hoc requests and be willing to work outside comfort zone and agreed R&R.
  • Engage with Product Owners within the Infotainment space, delivering solutions to various problems and facilitate between teams.

Skills:

  • Capture & understand Wireshark/VLAN/DLT/CAN/SOMEIP logs.
  • Six Sigma Problem Solving Techniques – 5-whys, Fishbone Analysis, etc.
  • Familiarity with Snapshot/Corvus Tools.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Excel / PPT / Word.

Education:

  • Desired: BEng in a Software/Electrical engineering discipline.
  • Greenbelt Certification.
