I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are looking for a Metrology Laboratory Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Job Description:
As Metrology Laboratory Maintenance Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and controlling laboratory environmental conditions, including temperature
- Supporting and coordinating maintenance activities across a wide range of equipment
- Acting as the responsible person for Contract Job Registrations (CJR), including RAMS
- Raising of SCaRF requests and managing invoices for the contracts
- Ensuring completion and upkeep of statutory and safety assessments, including PUWER
- Raising, managing, and controlling purchase orders, related to maintenance
Experience Required:
- An indentured apprenticeship or NVQ Level 4 minimum vocational qualification
- Good knowledge of fluid and gas management equipment
