Duties:

  • Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
  • Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Level: A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities typically include:

  • Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision.
  • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.
  • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
  • Previous launch experience around End of line and integration support mandatory.
  • CANalyzer and other Dev-aids experience essential.
  • The role is onsite support and will vary across various vehicle related systems.
  • Ability to work on their own and as part of a Launch team.
  • Must have a driving license as may be required to move vehicles and verify functionality.
  • Ability to read Electrical diagrams and experience of vehicle launches.

Skills:

  • Conversant with software download tools.
  • Able to work in a launch environment.
  • Motivated and good understanding of vehicle launch and supporting plant activities and crisis reviews.
  • Quality mindset essential.

Education:

  • Computer literate.
  • Educated to HNC or degree level.
