As an EDS Design Engineer within the Clients' PVO Team, you will be involved at all stages of the design and development process. You will liaise directly with customers and the cross-engineering teams to provide and deliver effective engineering solutions. Responsible for the inception, development and release of 3D Harness design and packaging across a broad range of company prototype projects.
Key Aspects of the role:
- Create 3D CAD for LV and HV Harnesses (CATIA V6).
- Electrical and Electronic installations collaborating closely with Electrical, Chassis, and Powertrain design teams.
- Design and package EDS, Wire Harnesses and associated components to required electrical modelling standard.
- Prepare documentation for internal and customer use for electrical installations.
- Support virtual build events and packaging activities to ensure the harness meets cost.
