About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in West Midlands, who are looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist to join their team.
Job Description
As Logistics Operations Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all delivery promises are entered.
- Ensure that parts, for the first car of each schedule, are received.
- Ensure zero build stoppages, for prototype builds.
- Ensure zero POF (Point of Fit) losses, for prototype builds.
- Ensure shipping collections, for prototype parts, are on time.
Experience Required
- Experienced in negotiating delivery dates with suppliers.
- Experienced in supporting multiple prototype production builds.
- Experienced in exporting material to suppliers, to supply assemblies.
- Experienced in negotiating production slots with internal operations.
- Experienced in reviewing delivery performance and opportunities.
- Understanding of agile philosophies, to overcome obstacles blocking supply.
Requirements
Applicants must have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility, to work full time, and travel within the UK.
