I am currently recruiting for a leading motorsport automotive company who is seeking a NX CAD Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As NX CAD Engineer your main responsibilities are:
- 3D routing of complex wiring looms within confined vehicle packaging spaces.
- Integration of electrical systems into composite structures.
- Collaboration with mechanical and electrical teams to resolve clashes and optimise routing.
- Delivery of robust, lightweight, production-ready CAD data and manufacturing drawings.
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Expert Siemens NX user β 3D harness routing and electrical packaging experience essential.
- Motorsport or SVO background β must be comfortable working at speed with minimal hand-holding.
- Proven ability to work within extremely tight packaging tolerances
- Designing within and around composite enclosures and structures.
- Familiarity with system 25, Motorsport-grade connectors, sensors, and assemblies.
