Invertek Drives, headquartered in Welshpool, UK, is a fast growing global company dedicated to the design, development and manufacturing of energy saving variable frequency drive technology.
We are seeking to appoint an Innovation Process Coordinator to support the successful launch of new products and ensure continuous improvement across our development and quality assurance processes. This role combines responsibilities from both innovation coordination and non-conformance administration, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Design Review (MR/DR): Track the implementation of tasks and requirements throughout all stages of the stage-gate process. Review data for new projects and submit for approval. Coordinate feedback loops between innovation, operations, and validation teams. Administer the MRDR process for new projects, ensuring smooth execution across departments.
- Product Release Data: Gather and consolidate data related to product releases. Work closely with development teams to compile necessary information. Prepare data for production launch.
- Engineering Change Notes (ECNs): Review and verify the completeness of ECNs and associated data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation. Assist in the preparation of ECNs for new product releases.
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs): Assist in administering the company’s non-conformance system. Receive, review, and process NCRs from internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Packaging Design Support: Assist with packaging design for new and existing products.
- Other Duties: Collaborate on additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in the electronics industry (preferred but not essential).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in quality assurance (preferred but not essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
