What you\’ll be doing

As Tax Senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, from sole traders and property investors to directors of owner-managed businesses. You\’ll also have the opportunity to work with more complex clients.

You\’ll be supported in your personal development with a fully funded study package, enhancing your technical expertise and leadership skills, enabling you to become a trusted business adviser.

  • Preparing self-assessment tax returns and dealing with personal tax compliance matters
  • Completing P11D forms and liaising with HMRC
  • Managing client relationships and providing day-to-day tax advice
  • Supporting the wider team with tax queries and complex advisory projects

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • ATT or CTA qualified (or nearing CTA qualification)
  • Proven experience within an accountancy practice, managing a client portfolio
  • Strong technical expertise in personal tax, including capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships and CGT
  • Knowledge of corporate tax, IHT, and tax planning would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational skills
