Operations Department – Remote

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of a portfolio of technology and process improvement initiatives across the Sumer audit line of service. You’ll be working closely with various teams to manage and oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet high standards. This is an essential role in driving the audit line of service forward, particularly in supporting change management and ensuring smooth transitions across various initiatives. You will be key in helping teams adapt to changes and new systems, while maintaining focus on achieving project goals. Working closely with internal stakeholders across the Audit practice, Technology teams and external vendors, the Project Manager will ensure the successful planning, execution, and rollout of key initiatives. The role will focus on driving adoption within the business and ensuring a smooth transition from project delivery into business‑as‑usual operations. This is a permanent position, reporting into the Head of Audit Quality and Strategy Implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of technology and transformation projects within the Audit service line.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, including Audit leadership, operations teams, IT, and external vendors, to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross‑hub and cross‑functional teams to ensure project milestones are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage third‑party vendors and technology partners to ensure effective delivery and integration of solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure clear communication and reporting of project progress to key stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Support change management activities to ensure smooth transitions and to drive adoption of new tools and processes across the Audit practice.
  • Facilitate user testing, training, and implementation activities as part of project rollouts.
  • Ensure successful transition of delivered solutions into business‑as‑usual operations, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.
  • Monitor post‑implementation KPIs and escalating potential deviation from the project objectives.
