  • Support transaction-related tax advisory work, including acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, tax structuring, management buy-outs, succession planning and exit readiness.
  • Provide advice on corporation tax reliefs and incentives, including capital allowances, substantial shareholdings exemption, loss utilisation and group relief planning.
  • Assist clients with international and cross-border corporation tax matters, such as transfer pricing, permanent establishment risk, withholding taxes and overseas expansion considerations.
  • Work closely with Tax Directors and colleagues across audit, accounts, corporate finance and private client teams to identify advisory opportunities and deliver joined-up client solutions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for complex UK corporation tax technical queries, preparing clear advice notes, reports and client communications.
  • Lead, coach and develop members of the tax team, helping them build advisory skills, commercial judgement and technical confidence.
  • Contribute to the growth of the tax advisory function through business development, proposal support, client relationship management and wider firm initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially minded and passionate about developing both clients and people. You'll ideally have:

  • Strong experience of delivering complex Corporate Tax advisory services within an accountancy practice.
  • ACA and/or CTA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to provide practical, commercial advice.
  • Previous experience managing, mentoring or developing junior team members.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a client-focused approach.
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a growing and ambitious business.
