Working alongside your peers, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the team, strengthening client relationships, and upholding the highest standards of audit quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the direction and development of the audit practice in line with Sumer NI’s broader vision and objectives.
- Provide trusted, hands-on support to our SME clients, offering tailored insights that add real value.
- Contribute to growth by identifying new opportunities, building networks, and supporting bids and proposals.
- Mentor and develop audit teams, championing a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Uphold rigorous audit standards, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and relevant regulations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with substantial post-qualification experience in external audit.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, support junior colleagues, and build a positive, high-performing culture.
- Strong relationship builder, able to act as a trusted advisor on financial reporting, risk, and controls.
- A strategic thinker with a solid understanding of the market and a passion for growing a modern, agile audit practice.
