What you’ll be doing:
  • You’ll work closely with a variety of owner-managed businesses, overseeing audits from planning through to completion.
  • You’ll lead on-site audit teams, ensure compliance with professional standards, and support process improvements.
  • Taking ownership of audits from planning to completion across a diverse client portfolio, ranging from small and large companies to partnerships and sole traders.
  • Leading audit fieldwork on-site, identifying risk areas, and ensuring objectives are met.
  • Attending and contributing to client meetings at all stages of the audit process, keeping the audit manager and RI informed as required.
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, building both their technical expertise and soft skills.
  • Driving improvements in audit processes to boost efficiency and enhance client experience.
What should you have:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in leading audits, with the ability to make decisions and elevate appropriately.
  • In-depth knowledge of audit regulations, quality standards, and risk management.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
