We’re currently looking for a Tax Senior to work with a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, from sole traders to directors of owner managed businesses, with the opportunity to work with larger more complex clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing Self-Assessment personal tax returns efficiently and accurately
  • Preparing P11D forms, advising on benefits in kind and preparing PAYE Settlement Agreements
  • Preparing Capital Gains Tax computations and in year CGT on UK Property returns
  • Communicating with colleagues from other departments, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required
  • Ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • ATT qualification (or part-qualified) or qualified by experience
  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • Strong technical expertise in personal tax, partnership tax and Capital Gains Tax
  • Experience in coaching and training junior members of the team
  • Proficiency in CCH is preferred, but not essential as full training and support will be provided
  • Sound tax advisory knowledge in owner managed businesses covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax and Company Tax issues would be preferred but is not essential
