Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to oversee our personal tax compliance function in our Stamford office. This is a key managerial position responsible for overseeing the delivery of personal tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will manage client relationships, review complex tax returns, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWIs, directors, sole traders and partnerships
- Act as the main point of contact for client queries
- Review and sign off self-assessment tax returns
- Oversee preparation of tax computations for individuals
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns in line with HMRC deadlines and handle enquiries and correspondence
- Maintain up to date knowledge of UK tax legislation
- Provide technical support on income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
- Ideally CTA qualified or ATT qualified with strong compliance experience within a practice
- Strong experience in personal tax compliance within a practice and proven experience reviewing complex tax returns
- Up to date technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
- Experience managing client relationships and leading a team
