We're on the lookout for a client-focused Insolvency Practitioner to join our growing team on a 4 day-a-week basis. Working closely with our Lead Insolvency Practitioner, you'll play a key role in supporting clients through challenging situations, developing our talented team, and helping shape the future of our insolvency offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • As an Insolvency Practitioner (IP), you will advise individuals and businesses facing financial distress, ensuring compliance with UK insolvency laws and working towards the best outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Assess financial situations and provide insolvency advice.
  • Administer insolvency processes (CVAs, CVLs, administration, IVAs, bankruptcies).
  • Negotiate with creditors and manage fund distributions.
  • Ensure compliance with UK insolvency regulations.
  • Investigate director conduct and identify wrongful trading.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their development.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Qualified JIEB and licensed by a recognised Insolvency Licensing Body.
  • At least five years’ experience in insolvency or financial restructuring.
  • Strong financial and legal knowledge in insolvency matters.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail conscious.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly to meet client needs.
