The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Audit Associate Manager to join our growing Northern Ireland audit team. This role is ideal for either a newly qualified or experienced auditor who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality audits, leading sections of engagements, and supporting the development of junior team members while continuing to build your own technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the management of a portfolio of audit clients
- Leading audits in the field, from planning through to completion under Manager/Partner supervision
- Identifying audit risks and contributing to effective audit strategies
- Ensuring audit work is completed in line with professional standards and firm methodology
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing constructive feedback
- Coaching and supporting trainees and seniors in their development
- Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a key day‑to‑day contact
- Assisting with the financial management of audit engagements
- Supporting business development and firm‑wide initiatives
The Person
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or newly qualified
- Proven experience in corporate audit, including managing audit engagements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long‑lasting client relationships
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective client relationships
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- An interest in developing leadership and people‑management skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
- A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to progress
