We are looking for a creative, data-savvy Social Media Marketing Executive to join our Brand & Communications team and help grow awareness of the Sumdog brand. This role will take ownership of our organic social media presence while also supporting the planning and execution of paid digital advertising campaigns. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging, on‑brand content across key social channels, using performance data and audience insights to continuously refine our approach.
Alongside social and paid activity, you’ll build and nurture relationships with teacher influencers, brand advocates, and education content creators who share our mission to make learning engaging and accessible for all. You’ll coordinate influencer activity end to end, from outreach and onboarding to content delivery, tracking, and evaluation. Working closely with the wider Brand & Communications team, you’ll ensure social, paid, and influencer activity aligns with our campaigns, values, and content strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape how Sumdog shows up online, build meaningful connections with our community of teachers and parents, and contribute to marketing that supports real impact in education.
About You
You’re a creative storyteller with a strong grasp of social media and digital marketing, balanced by a data‑driven mindset. You enjoy experimenting with content formats, testing ideas, and using insights to improve performance and reach. Highly organised and proactive, you’re comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once – from organic social planning and paid advertising to influencer partnerships and reporting. You pay close attention to detail and take pride in delivering polished, consistent work that reflects brand values. You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and when collaborating with others. You enjoy engaging with online communities and understand the importance of building positive, authentic relationships with teachers, parents, and partners. You’re curious and always learning, keeping up to date with platform changes, emerging trends, and new creative approaches. You’re open to feedback, comfortable iterating quickly, and motivated by meaningful work that makes a difference. Above all, you’re passionate about education and inclusion, and you’re excited by the opportunity to help bring Sumdog’s mission to life through creative, thoughtful marketing.
