About the role
We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Services business across the UK & Nordics region. In this strategic role, you will combine deep financial expertise with strong business acumen to guide decision‐making, improve performance, and ensure financial insights are embedded at every level of the organisation. As a key partner to regional leadership, you will play a critical part in shaping the future direction of the business - helping drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence across multiple sites and service lines. The role can be based at our Birmingham or Leeds facilities.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and review strategic plans at a regional, business unit, or divisional level, providing financial insights to support long-term growth and business strategies.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive performance management frameworks for cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
- Manage major capital programs and oversee costing, pricing and profitability modelling.
- Partner with senior leaders, shaping strategy and ensuring financial alignment with business goals.
- Support project reviews and provide expert financial guidance through the full project lifecycle.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
- 7–10 years’ experience in leadership in finance or business planning, ideally within the industrial, engineering services or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong stakeholder‐management skills with the ability to influence senior decision‐makers.
- Excellent communication skills, translating complex financial insights for non‐financial audiences.
- Advanced MS Office skills; experience with Tagetik, Qlik Sense or ERP systems is a plus.
