We are seeking an Estimator to join our team at our Netherley facility near Stonehaven – a key hub for turbine operations and customer support.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for gas turbine repair and overhaul projects.
- Analyse inspection reports and project specifications to calculate costs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and other internal teams.
- Ensure smooth commercial and technical handover to Project Engineers.
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as order value, margin reviews, and win rates.
- Maintain and update pricing models and standard scopes of work.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to reduce risk and maximise opportunities.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to forecast costs and margins.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in estimating within the rotating equipment MRO industry.
- Knowledge of industrial gas turbines and associated equipment (desirable).
- A recognised qualification in engineering (preferred).
