At Sulzer GT Aero, we are specialists in the maintenance, repair, overhaul and life extension of aeroderivative gas turbines and associated rotating equipment. Supporting customers across the energy, industrial and marine sectors, we help keep critical assets operating safely, efficiently and reliably around the world.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a commercially minded Project Manager to lead complex international projects from contract award through to successful completion.

The Role

We are looking for an individual who combines strong project execution skills with commercial awareness and customer focus. You will manage multiple international projects involving gas turbines, rotating equipment and associated services, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and with healthy profit margins. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Customers, you will act as the focal point throughout the project lifecycle, driving collaboration and ensuring customer expectations are exceeded.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the delivery of international gas turbine and rotating equipment service projects
  • Owning project profitability, financial performance and contractual obligations
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Identifying opportunities for additional business, upgrades and service offerings
  • Driving effective collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement and Field Service teams
  • Monitoring project progress, schedules, risks and resource requirements
  • Managing commercial negotiations, scope changes and variation orders
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with customer expectations, quality standards and HSE requirements
  • Providing regular project updates and financial forecasts to stakeholders
  • Supporting business growth through a proactive and customer-focused approach

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the gas turbine, rotating equipment, power generation, energy or related industrial services sector
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable projects
  • Understanding of rotating equipment overhaul, maintenance, repair or field service environments
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and confidently engage with senior stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to identify commercial opportunities beyond the original project scope
  • Project management qualification desirable but not essential
