About the role

Sulzer GT Aero (formerly Alba Power) is a global leader in gas turbine maintenance, repair and overhaul, supporting critical energy infrastructure worldwide. Now part of Sulzer's renowned rotating equipment services business, we combine decades of engineering expertise with a strong focus on supply chain excellence, partnering with suppliers to deliver quality, cost efficiency and reliability at scale.

We are currently looking for a Procurement Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high-performing procurement function, managing supplier data, processing purchase orders and helping ensure smooth, efficient supply chain operations. Ideal for someone organised, detail-focused and keen to build a career in procurement within a global engineering business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, including contact details, pricing agreements, and performance records.
  • Assist in the preparation of Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs), circulating them to potential suppliers.
  • Track and expedite orders, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any supply chain issues or delays.
  • Generate procurement reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
  • Support the negotiation of favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
Job Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within a procurement or supply chain department.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to task completion.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles and practices is a plus.
