About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused Administrator who will act as the first point of contact for visitors, customers and colleagues. You’ll manage the reception area, lead our admin team, and play a key role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing- Leading and coordinating the administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Greeting visitors and managing all front-of-house activity with professionalism and warmth
- Handling incoming calls, customer queries and complaints, ensuring swift and effective resolution
- Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with diary management, meeting coordination and document handling
- Overseeing meeting room management, including our newly refreshed 1846 Suite and Boardroom
- Managing business systems (SAP, Concur, Egencia, Softworks) and producing reports
- Coordinating wellbeing initiatives and key site communications
- Administering clock cards, SAP set-ups, post handling, parking permits and visitor logistics
- Supporting emergency procedures and promoting a safe working environment
- Ensuring excellent customer experience at every touchpoint
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Great organisational ability and a high level of attention to detail
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of tasks
- Flexibility, problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in administration or assistant roles
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
