We’re now looking for a skilled HR Advisor to join our UK HR team, someone who thrives in a hands‑on, varied role in a high performing engineering environment.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities- Provide first‑line ER advice on absence, performance, capability, conduct, grievances and complex cases, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
- Triage all UK ER cases, allocating to the correct owner and maintaining accurate documentation throughout.
- Support HRBPs with restructures, redundancies and wider change management activity.
- Lead employee engagement activity, including survey analysis, action planning and delivery.
- Oversee inclusive recognition programmes that celebrate colleagues across the UK.
- Drive health & wellbeing initiatives, partner with third‑party providers and manage Occupational Health referrals.
- Partner across the business to deliver HR projects that strengthen inclusion, culture and employee experience.
- Experience working within an industrial, engineering or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential, what matters most is your adaptability and willingness to learn the operational context.
- Solid ER experience with confidence managing sensitive, complex and sometimes high‑volume cases.
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- The credibility, empathy and communication skills needed to coach and influence managers at all levels.
- A passion for culture, wellbeing, inclusion and improving the employee experience in a fast‑paced engineering setting.
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- A willingness to travel occasionally to other UK Service Centres as part of a hybrid, multi‑site HR role.
