As a leading OEM Pump Manufacturer and a vital provider of maintenance services for diverse rotating equipment in the water industry, we are actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as Service Engineers. We are on the lookout for motivated professionals with experience in servicing rotating equipment, capable of delivering exceptional technical support and maintaining our high standards of service excellence.

Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities:

  • Strip, inspect, and rebuild various machinery such as Pumps, Mixers, Compressors, and Gearboxes within different sectors and by different OEMs, following pre-established work scopes or using your own judgement in situations where no work scope is defined (e.g., emergency repairs, problem-solving).
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Interact professionally with clients to understand their specific requirements, address concerns, and provide technical advice or recommendations.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need:

  • An understanding of electro-mechanical / rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, mixers, blowers, turbines, compressors).
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions, particularly in emergency repair situations.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Motivation to excel in providing technical support and maintaining service excellence.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as required.

Working hours and location:

Standard hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 15:30. Role involves a blend of fieldwork mainly throughout the East Anglian region, occasional support for other UK service requirements, and workshop work in Thetford. Company van provided for work-related travel.
