We are now seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at our Netherley, Stonehaven facility – a key hub for turbine operations and customer support.
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase gas turbine components, balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance.
- Convert requisitions into purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Drive supplier performance reviews, manage non-conformance claims.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain within MRO or related engineering industries.
- Experience of supplier management and negotiation of agreements.
- Strong team player capable of working across various departments and with external stakeholders.
- Adaptable approach, able to work independently, and function effectively as part of a team.
