About The Role

At Sulzer GT Aero, we are trusted worldwide for our expertise in the repair, overhaul, and field service of industrial, marine, and power gas turbines. With over 20 years of experience, we deliver tailored solutions that keep critical rotating equipment running at peak performance. From spare parts and consultancy to full turbine refurbishment, we are the partner of choice for reliability and rapid turnaround.

We are now seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at our Netherley, Stonehaven facility – a key hub for turbine operations and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase gas turbine components, balancing cost, quality, and delivery.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance.
• Convert requisitions into purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Drive supplier performance reviews, manage non-conformance claims

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain within MRO or related engineering industries.
• Experience of supplier management and negotiation of agreements.
• Strong team player capable of working across various departments and with external stakeholders.
• Adaptable approach, able to work independently, and function effectively as part of a team.
