We are seeking an Project Estimator / Proposals Engineer to join our team at our Netherley facility near Stonehaven – a key hub for turbine operations and customer support.
Job Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely quotations for gas turbine repair and overhaul projects.
Analyse inspection reports and project specifications to calculate costs.
Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, and other internal teams.
Ensure smooth commercial and technical handover to Project Engineers.
Monitor and report on key metrics such as order value, margin reviews, and win and update pricing models and standard scopes of work.
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to reduce risk and maximise opportunities.
Job Qualifications Strong financial acumen and ability to forecast costs and margins.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in estimating within the rotating equipment MRO industry.
Knowledge of industrial gas turbines and associated equipment (desirable).
A recognised qualification in engineering (preferred).
