Based in Aberdeen and operating globally, we help customers maximise reliability, performance and availability of their critical assets, both onshore and offshore.Due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Field Service) to join our growing team. This is a highly visible role where you'll act as the technical focal point for field service projects, supporting the planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out of gas turbine maintenance activities across customer sites. You'll work closely with Field Service Engineers, Project Teams and customers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.What You'll Be DoingLeading the preparation and execution of field service projectsDeveloping work packs, execution plans and RAMS documentationActing as the key technical interface between Sulzer and our customersSupporting field service teams before, during and after site activitiesProviding technical guidance on gas turbine maintenance and troubleshootingParticipating in site surveys and customer visitsReviewing and improving field service processes and documentationSupporting outage planning, mobilisation activities and reportingIdentifying opportunities to improve customer support and generate future businessWhat We're Looking ForExperience working with industrial gas turbines, power turbines or rotating equipmentKnowledge of field service environments, ideally within energy, power generation, oil & gas or related sectorsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working both independently and as part of a wider project teamWillingness to travel and support onshore and offshore projects when requiredJob LocationThis is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of our field service operations. You'll regularly interface with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are planned, coordinated and delivered successfully from start to finish.The position offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with the opportunity to be primarily home-based and manage your own diary. However, it is not a fully remote role.
