Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking aRegional Sales Manager to lead our high-performing Key Account Management and Sales team across the Central region. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the success of a critical territory, working with major UK water utilities and driving both capital equipment sales and service/aftermarket growth.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales targets for the Central region in line with the overall UK sales strategy.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a talented sales and key account team, ensuring they excel in building long-term customer partnerships.
  • Drive a blend of capital equipment sales and aftermarket/service opportunities, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with operations, service centres, and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions for customers.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to influence strategy and secure new business.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven track record in regional or key account sales management, ideally within water, utilities, or a related engineering sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • Commercially astute, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance growth ambitions with exceptional customer care.

Role Location

This is a mostly home-based role, spending the majority of your time on the road with customers across the Central region. Ideally, you will be based in or near West Midlands, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, or Nottinghamshire (other nearby counties) to ensure convenient access to customers and utility sites within your territory.
